Major Goals

• Formalize the strategic plan of the Division of Education and Student Services and continue to steer resources toward accomplishing those goals, most specifically in support of intercultural and interprofessional collaboration, support for underrepresented students, a more proactive approach to student health and wellness, the use of technology to improve learning, and the greater use of technology to improve service. Convert the plan and thinking to the Student Excellence Program as appropriate.
   
• Institute a division-wide approach to personnel evaluations andrewards tied to performance.
   
• Develop and implement a communication plan for the division.
   
• Ensure the fiscal health of the division through careful monitoring ofrevenues and careful allocation of personnel commitments and otherrecurring expenditures.
   
• Improve interprofessional understanding among the student bodythrough Presidential Scholars Program, more collaborative studentactivities, Interprofessional Day and related activities, and oversightof the C3 program.
   
• Support the acting Director of Educational Technology Services during the absence of the Director, particularly in the implementation of the educational technology upgrade plan that has been approved. Provide support to the new Executive Director of Administration for the division.
   
• Execute a successful seventh year of the Presidential Scholars Program and publish the outcomes of the program.
