Special Information for Candidates
Reserved Seating for Disabled Guests
Commencement guests who are disabled are eligible to receive a pass for themselves and for one assistant to sit in a special reserved section. Seating in this area is limited. Passes will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Once the available reserved passes have been assigned, additional disabled guests will be directed to Basic Science Building, room 302.

This reserved section is located under the Education Center/Library portico, on the Basic Science Building side. Ushers will be present to collect passes and to give assistance as needed. Passes are available by calling Patrick Cassano at 792-1639 in Enrollment Management, beginning April 1, 2009.

Reserved Parking for Disabled Guests
Guests who are disabled are also eligible for reserved parking. Passes are available by calling Patrick Cassano at 792-1639 in Enrollment Management, beginning April 1, 2009.

Television Broadcast of Ceremonies
For those guests who choose not to sit outside, Commencement ceremonies will be broadcast "live" on a big screen from the Horseshoe directly to room 302 in the Basic Science Building.

Adverse Weather Plan
If it rains, the ceremony begins at 11:00 AM in the McAlister Field House at The Citadel! Candidates are expected to arrive at the Citadel to line up beginning at 9:30 AM.

Parking
All shuttle buses will be making stops as usual at all garages and parking lots. Additional vans have been scheduled for this event and will be available on the same routes.

If a passenger has a need for courtesy cart service, the bus driver will radio personnel on campus to provide assistance and transportation from the Lucas Street bus stop to the Commencement site.
