Congratulations to Dr. Thomas G. Smith

Tom Smith

Dr. Thomas Smith recently wrote a paper titled "Developing a Writing Center within an Academic Health Science Center." The paper will be presented at the international "Writing Development in Higher Education" conference to be held in London in late June at the Royal College of Physicians. Dr. Smith was asked to present the concepts of the paper because of the uniqueness in higher education of having a writing initiative within an academic health science center. He is going to speak about the adaptations that writing programs must make in teaching writing skills to advanced health care education students.
