Borckardt Earns Degree

Deza Borckardt, Administrative Coordinator for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), joined the other 650-plus candidates walking at Commencement in May when she completed her Master in Health Administration degree here at MUSC.

Deza praised the support and understanding of her husband as one of the factors in achieving success in the two-year program of study.  She also noted that much of the material presented she could apply to her work at CAPS. She has developed an appreciation for care and patient satisfaction along with statistical analysis and new data management skills.

"My educational experience was certainly enriched by my work experience at CAPS."
