Lisa Kerr Wins Piccolo Spoleto Writing Award

Lisa Kerr of the Writing Center and Center for Academic Excellence is the 2008 Piccolo Spoleto Fiction Open fiction writing award winner. The Piccolo Fiction Open judges chose her story, "Bird's Eye View," for top honors among four winning stories this year from 150 entries. Lisa is the recipient of an $800 "total design freedom" publishing package from BookSurge. Her story will be published in the June 1st, 7.5 issue of Dark Sky Magazine and at http://www.darkskymagazine.com/.
