Sending Transcripts to MUSC
Official transcript can be sent directly to the Office of Enrollment Management from the registrar of each institution. If you are sending an official transcript that you received from your registrar's office, it must remain in the original, sealed envelope.
Electronic transcripts are welcomed by MUSC. If your prior college offers an electronic transcript option, please have your transcripts sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Final transcripts showing completion of work-in-progress and/or degree awarded must ALSO be sent to Enrollment Management and must be received no later than the end of the first semester of your enrollment. Failure to do so will result in your disenrollment at MUSC.
Prior or Current MUSC Students
If you are a prior or current MUSC student, we will print your MUSC transcript internally. You need not send a transcript request form to MUSC.
Academic records from foreign institutions must be provided in English and must be certified or validated as true by a university or government official. The following websites provide more information about international transcript evaluation agencies: www.wes.org; www.ies.aacrao.org; www.ierf.org; www.educationinternational.org.
Should you not be accepted, transcripts submitted to MUSC will be retained for a period of one year to assist you in reapplying. After one year, transcripts are destroyed and official copies must be resubmitted.
Transcripts from institutions where the applicant did not earn a degree may be waived with special approval if the coursework was taken more than 20 years ago, and the applicant is applying to a program that requires a bachelors degree. If you meet the above requirements, you may submit a petition for a transcript waiver to email@example.com. This is not a guaranteed waiver.
