In the News...
One of our research volunteers and her husband were interviewed for an article regarding their participation in our Resveratrol study. The article appeared in the Post & Courier this January. We appreciate all of our research volunteers, as they help us study new treatments for Alzheimer's disease.
Article: Midlands Woman Part of MUSC Alzheimer's Study
ARCP's Principal Investigator, Dr. J. Mintzer co-authored a study regarding the use of antipsychotic medications in patients with Alzheimer's. The study appeared in the October 18, 2012 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine.

Community Education
The ARCP offers free Alzheimer's education and presentations at various community events. These events include health fairs, church seminars, Alzheimer's support groups, and more. Topics include: Latest Alzheimer's Research, Alzheimer's Tutorial, Myth vs. Fact, Caregiver Stress Tips, and more. Additionally, we conduct community memory screens.
