Microbiology Interest Group
The Microbiology Interest Group brings together faculty members who share common interests in microbiology and infectious diseases. We hold monthly meetings to discuss current topics in microbiology/infectious diseases, present research progress, report on national or international meetings attended by a member, and seek feedback on grant applications. RNA CLUB: RNA and Disease:
In this forum faculty, postdocs and students from all over the MUSC and the Hollings Cancer Center meeting once a month to share data, discuss projects, review publications and establishing collaborations. Our topics are centered on different aspects of RNA biology and posttranscriptional control of gene expression with the special emphasis of the role and functions of those processes in the development of human disease.
