Student Academic Records
Academic records for all Medical University students are maintained in the Office of Enrollment Services. With the exception of copies made for internal University use, no copies of a student’s record will be released without the student’s written consent. Transcripts are provided at no additional cost to enrolled students and to students not enrolled during their semester of graduation; others are charged the published fee. Transcripts will not be issued to students having a hold placed on their files by the dean, enrollment services, accounting office, financial aid office, library, hospital, or bookstore. Reports of grades are available directly to students each semester over a secure Web site following the end of final examinations. It is the student’s responsibility to update address changes with the Office of Enrollment Services.  Transcripts for students in the Colleges of Dental Medicine, Medicine, and Pharmacy include, whenever appropriate, notation about leave of absence, academic suspension, and dismissal.

Public Law 101-542, known as the “Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act,” requires institutions to make available to current and prospective students the campus policies, programs, and instances of crime beginning in 1992. Such information is available on the Web pages of the Department of Public Safety.
