Tuition Assistance
It is the policy of the Medical University to provide tuition assistance to eligible employees for up to six (6) credit hours per academic term. Tuition assistance is subject to prior approval by the employing department and to availability of the employing department’s funds.

The Tuition Assistance Program is available for employees to enroll in a credit-bearing course at a South Carolina (state-funded) institution of higher learning, such as, The Citadel, College of Charleston, Trident Technical College, University of South Carolina. This does not include continuing education courses.

Employees wishing to participate in the Tuition Assistance Program may obtain a form from the Office of Enrollment Management and return the completed form with authorization signatures before the first day of class. The following due dates apply to upcoming semesters:
