Department of Health Professions
The Department of Health Professions is an integral part of the College of Health Professions. As such it joins the college in its service to the citizens of the state, region, and nation by providing professional academic programs in the areas of anesthesia for nurses, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Cardiovascular Perfusion, Health Administration, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, and Physical Therapy.

Through its academic programs the department educates professional entry level health professionals and provides continuing education programs, applied research, and consultation focusing on the continuing professional education needs of health professionals and  health care organizations.

Purpose Statement
