*Students in the Executive MHA program are not required to do the Health Administration internship. Executive MHA students have 54 total credit hours in their program.
Administrative Residency/Fellowship
Although an administrative residency is not required for graduation, students in the Residential MHA program are highly encouraged to compete for an administrative fellowship following graduation. The department will assist the students in identifying fellowship opportunities.
Community Service
Students enrolled in the MHA program are required to perform meaningful community service as part of the degree requirements. Community service is defined to include service to formally chartered and recognized social and/or health services organizations without pay or equivalent compensation. All MHA students must demonstrate no fewer than 20 hours of volunteer service between the date of admission and the date of graduation.
