| Dental Medicine Scientist Training Program The Dental Medicine Scientist Training Program is designed to facilitate the development of superior students into individuals who can provide the innovative leadership required by the dental sciences. The program allows attainment of both the D.M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. Accordingly, the program seeks to integrate the best qualities of both the dental and graduate programs into a cohesive whole and to allow training in both clinical and research areas. Students in the DMST program have the unique opportunity to participate in research activities both on the MUSC campus, and at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research intramural laboratories on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland. Exceptional students are encouraged to apply to this program via simultaneous application to both the College of Dental Medicine and the College of Graduate Studies. Additional information about the DMST program is located in the College of Graduate Studies section of this Bulletin. | | | | Last updated: | 03/03/2009
