Student Interprofessional Society

An aspect of Creating Collaborative Care (C3) is the Student Interprofessional Society (SIPS). SIPS is a campus-wide student group dedicated to promoting the concept of interprofessional education. As future healthcare professionals, students at MUSC will be expected to collaborate successfully with a wide spectrum of people outside their specialty. This group was created to facilitate interaction between disparate disciplines while still in professional training. Through such interaction, it is hoped to improve interprofessional collaboration and thus patient care and outcomes. SIPS coordinates a variety of service and social events designed to help students of all colleges at MUSC learn from, with, and about each other. Membership is open to all students.
