2012 C.A.E. BOARD REVIEW PROGRAM Registering for Phase I
Register
Phase I of our Board Review Program begins February 15th. The Center for Academic Excellence initially offers our 2-hour Testing Strategies seminar. This seminar is focused on teaching computer-based testing strategies while raising the awareness of students as to particular types of questions encountered on the actual USMLE. Phase I also includes a 4-hour diagnostic computer-based exam. This exam is designed to simulate USMLE testing and provides an extensive report of students’ strengths and weaknesses in the basic sciences. Our aim is to identify weaknesses in students’ academic competencies while assisting in the development of a functional plan of study designed to help students overcome these weaknesses. To accommodate the entire second-year College of Medicine class, we’ve devised the following schedule for students (first-come, first-served) to take advantage of our program. Please review and coordinate with your schedules the following dates/times for the Testing Strategies Seminar and Diagnostic Computer-based exam: Testing Strategies Seminar Note: Because of limited space, 15 students will be the maximum number for any given day.
