South Carolina Drug Card:
We are South Carolina Drug Card, a free prescription drug card program partnered with theSouth Carolina Medical Association & South Carolina Nurses Association. We work with hospitals, women’s clinics & pregnancy centers, colleges, chambers of commerce, as well as community outreach programs, such as South Carolina Kidney Foundation, Cancer Services, Brain Injury Association SC, Habitat for Humanity, Hands on Health SC, cancer, diabetes, & AIDS support, Senior Resource SC, Safe House, ministries, literacy programs, etc., to help reach the uninsured and underinsured in our state to afford their prescription medications. Savings with our drug card can be up to 30-75% off retail price for most brand & generic FDA-approved medications. Our card is completely free to everyone. We are HIPAA compliant -- no information is gathered, and anyone can use our card –including those on Medicare Part D, once in the donut hole, or for prescriptions not otherwise covered.

CARTA stands for: Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority. CARTA offers Fixed-route, Flex Service, Express commute service, and Paratransit service throughout the Charleston Metropolitan area, including The Trolley (DASH) service in the Historic Peninsula area of the Charleston.
