Global Health certificate now offered at MUSCTweet
Health care students and professionals are able to expand their training in global health and gain an opportunity to participate in international fieldwork by enrolling in the MUSC Global Health certificate program.
The Global Health certificate provides students and health care professionals with cross-cultural sensitivity and interdisciplinary skills necessary to address health challenges brought on by today’s global environment.
The certificate is available to MUSC students, staff and faculty, along with any non-MUSC undergraduate and graduate students planning careers in health sciences, and any health care professionals in the community.
This 10-credit program can be completed in a minimum of one year and will provide students with a foundation in global health through a combination of coursework, fieldwork and engagement with global health leaders. Courses begin Aug. 21, and students may also enroll in individual certificate courses.
