Wando High School students Kendall Pottieger, Annie Farley and Brenna Walsh present a $2,000 check to the PCICU cardiology nursing team on Feb. 20. Joining the students and PCICU staff are members of the Woody and Corning families, both who have had babies born with congenital heart defects. The students led fellow DECA Club members and Wando students to show their support by purchasing paper hearts and theme bracelts promoting children’s heart disease. photo provided
