Dear CBI Brain Study Groups:

In an effort to reduce the number of meetings, as well as to regroup our brain imaging research efforts, we would like to recombine the Adult and TBI/Adolescence Brain Study Groups. Our research efforts seemed to have had a much better outcome when we were a combined group.  Therefore, beginning with our July 10th meeting, we will meet as one group. Regular meetings will be on the second Tuesday of the month from 2-3 in CSB 210B. Also, please pass this email along to anyone who may be interested in joining the CBI Brain Study Group.

We also encourage you to attend any of the other CBI Study Groups that fit your research interests and please pass this information on to anyone you feel might want to attend.

Further information on all CBI meetings can be found at:  http://academicdepartments.musc.edu/cbi/education/CBIMeetings.

Dear CBI User Groups:

In an effort to streamline our administration and bring all of our CBI users together, we will be consolidating some of our meetings as well as our email groups.

Effective September 11, 2012, we will combine the CAIR and Preclinical User Group meetings into one meeting, the “CBI User Group Meeting”, which will be held biweekly from 11 am to 12 pm in BEB 201.

As you know, these meetings have been a great forum for us to present and discuss our research, identify collaborators, discuss operational issues of the CBI. During these meetings, you should feel free to voice any issues, questions and concerns about the facilities.

We also encourage you to attend any of the CBI Study Groups that fit your research interests and please pass this information on to anyone you feel might want to attend.

Further information on all CBI meetings can be found at:  http://academicdepartments.musc.edu/cbi/education/CBIMeetings.
