Kristen Sykes is a native of Charleston, SC and joins the CBI as an Administrative Assistant. She has been employed with UMA/MUSC for fifteen years and prior to joining the CBI, Kristen worked as the Legal Accounts representative for UMA and  in the Department of Radiology and Radiological Science where she was an administrative assistant to various faculty members and the medical student coordinator.  She also coordinated the visiting research scholar program and radiation safety programs within the department.
