Sports

Charleston has a variety of sporting activities to participate in as a player or as a viewer.  Follow the Charleston Riverdogs baseball or The Citadel football games for some local sports action.  Charleston offers numerous golf courses within easy driving distance including the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, where the Ryder Cup has been played.  There are numerous opportunities to compete in intramural sports with other students on campus.
