Ron Acierno, Ph.D.: Dr. Acierno is the Director of the PTSD Clinical Team at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He is currently PI on a Department of Defense grant to study a preventive intervention for PTSD for active duty service personnel and veterans, two federal grants from the National Institutes of Mental Health and Aging, PI on a NIJ grant on elder mistreatment, and PI on a State of South Carolina grant from the Department of Public Safety, and Co-I on two additional grants, two of which are treatment outcome projects including a VA HSR&D funded project on Telemedicine. |
