 David J. Taber, PharmD,

 Complete Biosketch

Dr. Taber is currently an Assistant Professor within the Division of Transplant Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina; he has been working in the field of solid organ transplant for over 10 years. Dr. Taber's research interests include studying methods to optimize medication use and safety within transplant recipients. He has published over 30 manuscripts and 70 abstracts in this area and is currently a principle investigator or Co-PI for several research grants. Dr. Taber earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from SUNY Buffalo in 1996 and his Pharm.D. from MUSC in 1999. He completed specialized residency training in solid organ transplantation from UNC Chapel Hill in 2000. Dr. Taber has been a practicing board certified pharmacotherapy specialist since 2000.
