Feature! AFN STUDENT SERVES SC WWII VETERANS

On September 18th, 2012, Mr. David Floyd, a senior nurse anesthetist in the AFN Program, had the opportunity to serve South Carolina WWII Veterans. David was a participant in Honor Flight, a non-profit volunteer-based organization whose mission is to honor surviving WWII veterans by taking them on a free, one-day trip to Washington D.C. to visit, among other places, the WWII Memorial built in their honor. David’s assignment is to be a Guardian.  MORE

CLASS OF 2012 NOW ALUMNI

The Anesthesia for Nurses Class of 2012 graduated on December 7th, 2012. The ceremony was a celebration of the conclusion of the 28-month program but also recognition of successes of the graduates and their faculty. The Agatha Hodgins Award for Student Clinical Excellence, as voted on by the clinical faculty, was presented to Ms. Catherine Kinsey and the Dean’s Award was presented to Ms. Elizabeth Moses and Ms. Jarrett Price who both achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs throughout the program.  MORE
