2011 Health Administration Alumni and Leadership Conference

The 14th Annual Health Administration Alumni and Leadership Conference was held on October 20 at Founder’s Hall in Charleston, SC. Lindsay Wiltshire, MHA Class of 2007, served as Chair of the conference planning committee. The event received exceptional feedback and attracted a record number of attendees as well as distinguished speakers from all over the southeast including keynote speaker Thornton Kirby, President and CEO of the SC Hospital Association.

As part of the ARAMARK Healthcare sponsored lunch program, the 2011 DHAP Distinguished Alumnus Award was presented to James Whitlock, DHA Class of 1999 and the 2011 DHAP Alumni Association Scholarship was presented to MHA student, William Sloan Garrett.

Following the conference, the SC ACHE Lowcountry LPC hosted an onsite oyster roast as an opportunity to unwind and network.
