Cardiovascular Perfusion Program
Cardiovascular Perfusion is a well-balanced academic and clinically based perfusion education program dedicated to safe, progressive patient care. The student is exposed to a rigorous education, which demands excellence in academic activities, clinical skills, research and professionalism. This program is designed to produce the perfusion technology leaders of the future.
Upon completion of the program, the student is awarded a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cardiovascular Perfusion.
Department of Health Professions
The Division of Cardiovascular Perfusion, Anesthesia for Nurses, Physician Assistant, PT, and OT, comprise the Department of Health Professions in the College of Health Professions. Becki Trickey, PhD is the Interim Department Chair, and John M. Toole, M.D., is the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Perfusion Program.
Life Support Department
Cardiovascular Perfusion faculty and students practice in the Life Support Department at MUSC Hospital. The Life Support Department provides cardiovascular life support services in several care areas in the hospital.
