Student Research Day
Student Research Day (SRD) is an all-day event, held each fall. It is designed to encourage participation in scientific presentations that are similar in format to major national meetings. Student Research Day is an excellent learning opportunity for our students in a friendly environment.
The role of SRD is multifaceted: it helps to sharpen the student's presentation skills; it provides a springboard for students to attend regional and national meetings; it advertises the excellence of the research performed at MUSC; and it assists in our ongoing recruitment efforts for both students and faculty.
The Cardiovascular Perfusion program is well known for its success in integrating research competencies into its perfusion education curriculum and participation in SRD is highly encouraged.
