Scholarships

PLEASE NOTE: The scholarships found on this page are available to all currently enrolled students.

Each year the College of Health Professions awards numerous merit-based scholarships to applicants who demonstrate exceptional accomplishment and intellectual promise. Awards range from $500 to $2,000; they honor students with high academic standing, and make it possible for them to attend CHP.

Awarded three times a year – at the beginning of Fall, Spring and Summer semesters – these scholarships have been established to honor the memories of those named below.

Students will be notified which scholarships are available prior to the start of each semester. The available scholarships will be highlighted in RED and will indicate the application deadline and criteria to be considered for the scholarship.

The following scholarships highlighted in RED are available for Summer 2013.

• Anne Pappas Scholarship
• College of Health Professions Public  Advisory Board Scholarship 
• College of Health Professions Student Government Association Scholarship 
• Melvin “Bubba” Nickles, MD Scholarship 
• Alumni Association Scholarship: Academic excellence, leadership, and community involvment are the criteria considered for this scholarship. Available to full-time students in good standing at CHP, the recipient is selected by the CHP Alumni Association Board each Spring. The award is granted in the Fall.
