The following criteria is required for admission into the Cardiovascular Perfusion program:
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Prerequisite courses listed below. For a guide of Frequently Approved Prerequisites, click here.
- Competitive GRE scores
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above in all college work
- Current CPR Certification
- Shadowing a Perfusionist
Mathematics (6 hours recommended)
Anatomy and Physiology (includes lab)
Chemistry (includes lab)
Physics (includes lab)
Social Sciences (choose at least two anthropology, computer science, economics, history, political science, psychology, sociology)
Humanities (choose at least two education, fine arts, foreign language, literature, philosophy, speech, communications)
Electives (the following are recommended: accounting, speech, additional science, social science, and humanities)
