Here’s a hearty welcome from the faculty and staff of the Cardiovascular Perfusion program. We look forward to seeing you this fall, and have been busy preparing for your class.

Prior to your first day on campus in August, please read King of Hearts: The True Story of the Maverick Who Pioneered Open Heart Surgery by G. Wayne Miller. I firmly believe this is a must-read for anyone entering a career in cardiovascular perfusion.

Orientation activities will be held on Monday, August 19th in the College of Health Professions. Please plan to spend the entire day with us. We ask that you read carefully the information located here on the orientation website.

I wish you the best as you begin your undergraduate studies here at MUSC. See you August 19th!

Sincerely,

Joseph J. Sistino, MS, MPA, CCP
