Please dress in business casual attire. Business casual is a button-down shirt with a collar, blouse and/or a sweater, khakis or dress pants, and dress shoes. Women can also wear a moderate knee-length dress or skirt. For men, no tie is required. Do not wear shorts, jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops, or sneakers.
For everyday studies:
During your educational program you will be required to dress for a variety of situation-specific settings: classroom, laboratory, clinic, and community settings. Within each of these settings, safety and a graduate professional image are of importance. Your clothing must be neat (i.e., ironed), clean (i.e., free from stains), modest (no waist line or trunk skin exposure when bending or squatting), adheres to safety regulations, and shows respect for those with whom you are working (culturally appropriate). You may attend community/class presentations, conferences or job interviews which requires more formal dress. You will need to dress professionally and appropriately for all occasions.
