Net ID, MUSC Email, and Webadvisor Information
Net ID Information
One of the most important items you’ll need is an MUSC NetID account. Approximately, 45 days prior to the start of the semester, your NetID account will be created. Once created, you will receive a series of email notification messages. The first message will contain your NetID and forty-eight hours later, a second message will be sent containing your password and instructions on how to activate your account. Once you have activated your NetID, you will be sent a third message which contains Student Accounting information and various important URL's. You will also receive periodic updates and important information related to orientation by email. Until you activate your account, you will be sent a reminder message on a weekly basis. (Don't forget to check your spam and junk folders just in case) Please note that these email notification messages from the university, will be sent to the personal email address you included on your original university application. If a personal e-mail address is not available, you should receive your NetID through regular postal service mail.
Please be sure to activate your NetID. You will also need to bring it with you to orientation.

WebAdvisor is a Web interface that allows you to access information contained in the MUSC administrative database. Students can check their class schedule, grades, view holds, pay their bill, check financial aid status, etc. Please take a moment to visit WebAdvisor to update your personal contact information, especially if you have changed your personal email address since applying.
