- Discuss the Step Care Model of COPD Management and detail pharmacologic treatment recommendations based on the stage of disease.
- Recognize major benefits and risks of established and newer therapies including bronchodilators, corticosteroids, and selected non-pharmacologic interventions.
- Develop an evidence-based treatment and monitoring plan for an outpatient suffering from symptoms of COPD.
