Christine G. - Master in Health Administration Student Ambassador
Hi there! My name is Christine and I am a student in the residential master in health admnistration program here at MUSC. I am orginially from Ft. Meade, Maryland, but I attended the University of South Carolina where I majored in Psychology. Something unique about me is that I used to work in a tattoo shop!
I chose the MHA program at MUSC because it is nationally ranked and the tuition was more affordable than other programs in the Southeast. The location was ideal because the school is located within walking distance of three hospitals. The area offers an abundance of opportunities for students to gain valuable work experience. I plan on working in strategic planning, business development, or project management once I am finished with the program. The health administration field offers a variety of work opportunities so it’s hard to pick just one!
All applicants should know that MUSC has an endless amount of student organizations and activities for students to participate in. Also, the university is big on interprofessional collaboration between healthcare professionals. And everyone should know that Charleston has amazing restaurants and beautiful parks. Charleston is an alluring city with a variety of activities for people to do in their spare time.
Don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions!
