Hi! I am Emily and attended Clemson University where I majored in Therapeutic Recreation.

One thing all applicants should know about College of Health Professions and/or MUSC is that The instructors and faculty of CHP are awesome and help you feel so comfortable and confident in your ability to succeed as a student. They make an effort to get to know you and are always available to you when you need assistance. One thing all applicants should know about Charleston or the out-of -state students should know about SC is that we have amazing beaches, food, beautiful weather, shopping, sweet tea, shrimp & grits, kind-hearted people.

WARNING: You will fall in love with Charleston.

I chose MUSC because of its outstanding reputation as an institution and the great educational program it has to offer to me personally. I’ve always known that I wanted to work with people & I fell in love with working with people with disabilities after majoring in Therapeutic Recreation.  I knew I wanted to take my education to the next level and Occupational Therapy fit exactly what I wanted to do: help individuals live their life to its fullest.  I want to develop a great educational base that can allow me as a professional to help others succeed at the things they need and want to do every day and I know that MUSC is the perfect place for me to accomplish my goal! I absolutely love MUSC and I know you will too!
