The College of Health Professions (CHP) requires that all rooms in Buildings A, B and C must be reserved a minimum of 2 business days. The rooms that must be reserved include the classrooms, conference rooms, Atrium, Seminar room, Newberry room, Catering kitchen, and Simulation room. Please note: An Atrium reservation does not guarantee exclusive use of the space.
Course or Student-Related Room Reservations
A course or student related events are activities directly related to either an academic session or a student sponsored event. Examples include: Additional course meetings, Rescheduled classes, Exam sessions, Guest Speaker sessions, Review sessions, MUSC Research Day, Interprofessional Day, Students Orientations, Student meetings, Student fundraisers, Tutoring sessions, etc. First priority is given to Course or Student Related Events. Non-Course or Non-Student Related Room Reservations
A non-course related event is any activity not directly related to a specific CHP academic course. Reservations for classrooms are given first priority for academic use.
For events occuring during normal business hours (8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday): Download the Business Hours Non-course Related Event Room Reservation Form, and email completed form to email@example.com.
For events occurring after normal business hours (weekends or before 8:30am or after 5:00pm Monday-Friday): Download After Hours and Weekends Non-course Related Event Room Reservation Form, and email completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
