Classroom Services

The College of Health Professions (CHP) requires that all rooms in Buildings A, B and C must be reserved a minimum of 2 business days. The rooms that must be reserved include the classrooms, conference rooms, Atrium, Seminar room, Newberry room, Catering kitchen, and Simulation room.

Please note: An Atrium reservation does not guarantee exclusive use of the space.

Rooms may be reserved for Course/Student Related Events, and Non-Student/Non-Course Related Events.

Course or Student Related Events-
A course or student related events are activities directly related to either an academic session or a student sponsored event. Examples include: Additional course meetings, Rescheduled classes, Exam sessions, Guest Speaker sessions, Review sessions, MUSC Research Day, Interprofessional Day, Students Orientations, Student meetings, Student fundraisers, Tutoring sessions, etc. First priority is given to Course or Student Related Events. To download a copy of the entire policy: 2.5 Course and Course Related Events-Room Reservation Use and Policy and Procedures

Non-Course or Non-Student Related Events-
A non-course or non-student related event is any activity that is not directly related to a specific CHP or MUSC academic course or student. Examples include: Administrative Faculty and Staff meetings, Continuing Education Conferences, Professional Association Conferences, Toastmasters, Board of Trustees meetings, etc. Second priority is given to non-course or non-student related events.
