| Office of CME Professional Presentations 2013 MUSC Office of CME Exhibits at SC Diabetes Day 2013
|  |  | Tina Kehoe (l) from the MUSC Office of CME exhibited the Measure Your Health display at the annual Diabetes Awareness Day at the South Carolina Statehouse on March 13, 2013, which was hosted by the Diabetes Initiative of South Carolina (DSC), represented by Julie Benke-Bennett (r). DSC provided free diabetes screening to the public which included a blood glucose test and waist circumference measurement per the SC Guidelines on Diabetes Care. Measure Your Health is an OCME initiative to raise the public's awareness of the importance of measuring waist circumference for prevention of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
