Laboratory Core (L-COHR) The L-COHR provides histology, oral cancer mouse models, preclinical rodent models of oral pathology, digital imaging, microCT, and gnotobiotic animal services for researchers in the College of Dental Medicine, for researchers in other departments on the MUSC campus and for researchers outside of MUSC. The L-COHR is located in room 129 of the Basic Science Building and is under the direction of Philip Werner. Laboratory services are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. After hours use of the Core is also available for approved users. All histology equipment usage must be pre-approved and may be scheduled by contacting either the Core Supervisor or Technicians. Consultation service is available for protocols, embedding and staining.
