 COHR: Center for Oral Health Research | Oral Histology & Digital Imaging Core

Laboratory Core (L-COHR)

The L-COHR provides histology, oral cancer mouse models, preclinical rodent models of oral pathology, digital imaging, microCT, and nCounter analysis services for researchers in the College of Dental Medicine, for researchers in other departments on the MUSC campus and for researchers outside of MUSC.

The L-COHR is located in room 129 of the Basic Science Building. Laboratory services are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. After hours use of the Core is also available for approved users. All equipment reservations and services can be accessed through iLab (musc.ilabsolutions.com).  For training or questions, please contact the Core Directors or Technicians.

Consultation service is available for protocols, embedding and staining. Samples may be submitted for processing by the Core Technicians or researchers may choose to use Core facilities and equipment independent of the Core Technicians.
