- Consider the role of genetic, environmental factors in the initial vulnerability to seek drugs
- Consider the role of genetic, environmental factors in the propensity to become addicted to drugs
- Consider the role of specific molecules and particular brain structures in the propensity for drug seeking and in the long term consequences of addiction
