Town Hall Meetings
As you know, I am very interested in hearing from our faculty and all members of the college, and am planning a series of town hall meetings this winter and spring to further our conversations. These town hall meetings are intended to be another opportunity for me to hear from you about issues of importance to the college. The first of these town hall meetings is scheduled for Thursday, January 17, at 4:00 p.m. in 100 Basic Science Building. I hope all members of the college who are able will plan to attend.

FAIR CV Database
The MUSC FAIR System (faculty CV database) provides a central source for faculty CVs as well as a data source for college and university administration. CVs are initially input during the faculty appointment process. To ensure that data is complete and accurate, it is important that all faculty update their CVs on a regular basis. FAIR can be accessed at http://fair.musc.edu using your net id. If you need assistance with the FAIR system please contact your department’s Business Manager or email email@example.com.

As a reminder, we have created new electronic discussion platforms focusing on education, research, clinical affairs, and general information from the Dean’s Office and the College of Medicine. These forums are intended to serve several purposes. First, they are another way for my office to share important information with faculty, staff, and students. Second, they are meant to encourage discussion about issues within the college and to empower everyone within the college to voice their opinions. These “discussion forums” are intended to be not only channels for messages to be sent out, but channels for YOUR ideas, comments and questions to be heard by college leadership. Your voice matters and we are pleased there is a new way for it to be heard. You can access these forums by using the following links and your net ID and password:
