The Twenty-Sixth Annual Charity Ball will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Memminger Auditorium from seven o'clock until eleven o'clock. Live music will be provided by Permanent Vacation. The silent auction bidding, heavy hors d'ouevres and cash bar will begin at seven o'clock. Please help your community by attending this event.
The Medical Student Alumni Council's (MSAC) primary functions are to help ease the transition from medical student to active alumnus and to serve as liaisons between the student body and alumni.
The council assists the Office of Alumni Affairs in hosting student and alumni functions such as monthly Specialty Seminars, and regional receptions for alumni. One of two campus groups involved in the Charity Ball benefiting low-country charities, the Council is responsible for planning the Silent Auction accompanying the Charity Ball. The council co-chairs also attend Alumni Association Board of Directors meetings to report on student activities and help with the reunion weekend, as well as various alumni functions.
