John Kenney

Biography
John Kenny is the Resident Agent in Charge (RAC) for the United States Secret Service (USSS) in Charleston South Carolina.

Agent Kenney has been a special agent since December, 1988; prior to that he was a police officer and detective with the Fairfax County Police Department in Virginia. He has been a sworn law enforcement officer since 1982.

Agent Kenney has investigated numerous cases including complex conspiracies, Internet threats, fraud, cyber-fraud and counterfeiting cases both in the United States and abroad as a member of the Secret Service's Joint Counterfeit Task Force. He has attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Glynco, Georgia and the Secret Service's Special Agents Training Class in Washington DC. He also attended the Northern Virginia Regional Criminal Justice Academy. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
