Erica Hanesworth ’97 ’99 headlined the College’s annual Black History Month Seminar, held this year on February 28 in Baruch Auditorium. The seminar was one of a number of Black History Month events at MUSC featuring MUSC pharmacy and friends, including:
Johnnie Early, former dean of the MUSC College of Pharmacy, was honored on February 16 at the Annual Black History Awards Program. The program was a collaboration of all six MUSC colleges and Early was nominated by the College’s student chapter of the National Pharmaceutical Association.
In addition, alumna Dachelle Johnson '09 was the featured speaker at the MUSC Diversity Alumni Speaker Series program on February 19. Johnson is a medication safety officer in the Clinical Center Pharmacy Department of the National Institutes of Health.
