Mission and Vision: Our mission is to advance knowledge in biostatistics and epidemiology, to provide education and training with respect to biostatistical and epidemiological methodologies, and to apply that training to research conducted across the MUSC and beyond.
Our vision is to become a major international center for education and research. To become a program of choice for the best students, an employer of choice for the best faculty, and to produce sought after students. We will further develop as a resource for research activities for all of the MUSC, expand our involvement in national and international collaborative research, and increase our own external peer-reviewed funding.
