Dr. Marvella Ford has been selected as the Medical University of South Carolina 2012 Martin Luther King, Jr. Award recipient in recognition for her service and contributions to the Tri-county community.  She will be honored during the annual Black History Intercollegiate Consortium's Annual King Holiday Observance on Tuesday, January 17th along with recipients from other local colleges.

What great news!  Congratulations on this richly deserved recognition.  It is a great tribute to you and all that you do to promote diversity and to serve the community.
