Congratulations to Dr. Marvella Ford!
The Division of Biostatistics had a reception for Dr. Marvella Ford on January 13th in her honor.  Dr. Ford was selected as MUSC's 2012 Martin Luther King Jr. award recepient.

Dr. Ford spoke to attendees about the Hollings Cancer Center Cancer Disparities Program 3-point Action Plan Objectives:

Conduct cancer disparities activities with partners in South Carolina

Develop specific, target research interventions to reduce cancer disparties

Increase the number of investigators in South Carolina who conduct cancer disparities research
