Dr. Marvella Ford is an invited speaker in the Distinguished Lectureship Series at the AARC Conference The Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Racial/Ethnic Minorities and the Medically Underserved, September 18-21, 2011in Washington, DC.

The AARC-MICR (American Association for Cancer Research-Minorities in Cancer Research Council)   recently announced the AACR-MICR Distinguished Lectureship Series, a new MICR-organized program that provides outreach to Minority-serving Institutions in order to inspire young minority students and MSI educators to pursue cancer research.
