The division of Endodontics is within the Department of Oral Rehabilitation. Endodontics involves the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp and resultant pathology in the surrounding bone. The purpose of endodontic treatment is to eliminate diseased pulp tissue and allow a structurally sound tooth to be retained in the dental arch.
