FACULTY

The faculty of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics represents a broad range of experiences and interests in clinical, academic, research, and service areas related to the comprehensive care of pediatric and adolescent patients. This range reflects the combined nature of the Department with teaching and service components in the disciplines of pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and craniofacial genetics. The faculty directly involved in the postgraduate program includes a mix of full-time pediatric dentistry faculty (3), full-time orthodontic faculty (2), full-time craniofacial geneticist (1), and pediatric dentists in private practice (6) who teach part time. Ten of the faculty are Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry; two are dual-trained in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. The faculty are graduates of six different pediatric dentistry programs. Additionally, residents interact with other departmental and CDM faculty.
